Logo – The biggest giveaway of who we are through our logo is the image of three books to the left of our company name FERSS (“Foundation of Elenora R. Spratt Scholarships”). This communicates how our organization is geared towards education and more so paying for your education. To keep the symbol distinctive, it will always have the same display of the blue white and yellow color scheme.
Wordmark – The wordmark of our brand is an acronym of the title to our company (“Foundation of Elenora R. Spratt Scholarships”) simplified to FERSS. The font gives off a studious feel to the brand.
Colors – The main color of our brand is blue with a hint of purple with the text being white. The logo portraying the books is to the left of the title with the first book colored yellow and the next two colored white.
Image (Black and White Logo)
We have a horizontal version of the logo and a round version of the logo which appears to be a circle with the acronym on the inside and the full title on the outside revolving around the circle. When it comes to being marketed with other colors that conflict with the original color scheme of FERSS, we have some alternate color schemes for the logo including a Black & White color scheme.
When it comes to collaborations and partnerships,
Some partnerships may be approved for the creation of a FERSS -partner company logo pairing. If approved, please ensure that the FERSS logo appears first, there is a complete parity of size, placement and province in the partner materials, and that there is appropriate spacing between the logos per the FERSS clear space guidelines.
Generally, if a Partner is using their symbol, the Book Icon should be used. If a partner is using their full logo, use the full FERSS wordmark. Alternatively, you can consider the level of awareness within your region when choosing to leverage the wordmark or Book Icon.
The design element that separates the two marks is flexible in form and color based on the context of the partnership, but our default is the red rule. We have provided a few examples of different separators below to showcase this flexibility.
